What is a Car Radio Code and Why is it Needed?
When the vehicle's battery is removed or the electrical connection is cut off, the radio locks itself as a security measure against theft. To reactivate the audio system, you must enter the original 4 or 5 digit Radio Code specified by the manufacturer.
Where Is The Original Radio Code Written?
It is usually written in the vehicle user manual or warranty document. However, if you have lost these documents, do not worry. When you gently remove the radio from its slot, you can instantly find out the original code by entering the serial number on the barcode label on the back or side (Ex: V234, M012345) into our application.
What Happens If I Enter code Wrong (LOCKED Error)?
If you enter the radio code incorrectly repeatedly (usually 10 or 13 times), the radio will display a 'LOCKED' error and be completely locked. You cannot enter a locked device even if you know the correct code.
