Find Serial Number

On Mazda factory head units, the serial number is printed on the top casing barcode label.

CODE ENTRY

Step-by-Step Code Input

When "CODE" is displayed, enter the 4-digit code using keys 1-4. Hold down "AUTO-M" and preset "6" together for 3 seconds to confirm.

ERROR & LOCKOUT FIX

SAFE / WAIT / LOCKED Solution

If "ERR" appears, perform the emergency master reset sequence: Press "Preset 6" + "AM" + "Auto-M" + "Seek Up", then enter the master override PIN (e.g. 4989 or 3511).
