See All QuestionsWhen the vehicle's battery is disconnected or the electrical connection is cut off, the tape recorder locks itself as a security measure against theft. To reactivate the audio system, it is mandatory to enter the original 4 or 5-digit tape code (radio password) specified by the manufacturer.
It is usually written in the vehicle user manual or warranty document. However, if you have lost these documents, do not worry. When you gently remove your tape recorder from its slot, you can instantly find out your original password by entering the serial number on the barcode label on the back or side (Ex: V234, M012345) into our application.
If you enter the radio code incorrectly repeatedly (usually 10 or 13 times), the tape recorder will display a 'LOCKED' error on the screen and will be completely locked. You cannot enter a locked device even if you know the correct password. For this reason, instead of making random attempts, it is recommended that you obtain the exact code with your serial number through our application.
