On BMW Business and Reverse audio units, serial numbers begin with "BP" (Blaupunkt) or "AL" (Alpine) on the chassis label.

Step-by-Step Code Input

When "CODE" appears, enter your 5-digit PIN directly using presets 1-5. The radio unlocks automatically upon entering the final digit.

ERROR & LOCKOUT FIX

SAFE / WAIT / LOCKED Solution

If "DISABLED" or "WAIT" appears, keep the ignition ON for 30-60 minutes. Multiple wrong attempts increase the lockout time.
